Sahara Programs Appoints Mr. Fazal Mumtaz as Chief Operating Officer, Celebrates Community Support and Growth<\/h4>

8\/9\/2025<\/strong> \u2013 Sahara Programs is pleased to announce the appointment of Mr. Fazal Mumtaz as its new Chief Operating Officer (COO). The appointment was formally celebrated at a vibrant community gathering held recently in the Washington D.C. metropolitan area, underscoring Sahara’s deep commitment to community engagement and transparent leadership.<\/h6>
The event, attended by over 75 distinguished guests, brought together local political representatives, esteemed nonprofit leaders, influential community figures, dedicated donors, cherished family members, and a growing cohort of new friends committed to Sahara’s mission. The program featured an array of inspiring speakers who eloquently lauded Sahara Programs’ impactful services and reinforced the collective commitment to its continued humanitarian efforts.<\/h6>
Attendees offered widespread commendation for Mr. Mumtaz’s distinguished record of dedication and service to the community. March 2025: We had the honor of hosting Raquel Teran, a community leader and former AZ Senator, and Tesha Hodge, Phoenix City Council Member, at our Phoenix Learning Center. The kids had a wonderful time interacting with our special guests.
